Ana will be released in the Standard edition (DVD + Blu-ray) and in the numbered Ultralimited edition Mediabook + 20-page booklet and with Italian subtitles.
The film is directed by Frédérick Maheux (Art/Crime) and has been called "the best experimental film" ("The best experimental film I have ever seen") by German director Marian Dora (Cannibal, Melancholie der Engel).
Presented by Frédérick Maheux as a "cyber horror" about the "aestheticization of female self-destruction" due to the influence of the web world, Ana is an episodic film in which female performances are highlighted by torture, neon lights and haunting music.
The film's story focuses on an investigation into the disappearance of several women.
Plot: an individual investigates the disappearance of several women who appear in encrypted videos hidden on the Web. The investigation will lead the man to decipher an esoteric riddle in an attempt to solve the case.
